We offer an industry leading, 24 hour notice for refunds or rescheduling.

10 percent fee may be incurred on  Refunds due to financial charges involved. 

that means you need to commit to your booking especially if you are booking less than 24 hours from the time, as you wont be able to reschedule as 24 hours notice is required.

We do offer a R500 per person rescheduling fee for less than 24 hours notice and its based on availability. 

If you choose to make a booking on the day your plane lands in Cape Town remember that flights often get delayed and you do so at your own risk.

In your emailed booking confirmation we advise you to arrive 30 minutes early, that way if there is traffic or you get lost or flat tyre you still have time to make your booking. The later you arrive the shorter your tour gets and after 20 mins late then you will have missed your booking.

The rules of the dunes dictate that a maximum of 13 quad bikes are permitted for paying clients.

Permits are the nature reserverves fees for entering the reserve (the dunes) and doing activities like quad biking or sandboarding or filming or 4x4ing.  when you book online it will tell you if the permit is included or not .

Our activities exclude transport as many people hire a car . You can order a uBer , just search for Atlantis Dunes in the app as a location, ask the driver to wait for you, tell him you quad biking for 1 hour, they are usually happy to wait for your return transport.

Weather very seldom stops our Quad biking activities at Atlantis Dunes. the weather in the city of Cape Town is not the same as in the dunes. Weather in Cape Town is often more severe than at the Atlantis Dunes, this is because Cape Town is at the base of a Mountain range, the Atlantis dunes are over 50kms away with no mountains in the area to catch rain clouds. The Client is responsible for monitoring weather predictions for the day of their tour, and should the client feel the weather is not suitable for the activity, it is then the client's responsibility to cancel or reschedule the tour 24hours prior to the time of activity date. 

Children aged 13 years old or older may ride on their own, however any children under the age of 13 are only allowed to ride with one of our guides. According to the rules set out at the Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve they may not ride with a parent. We are not permitted to take kids under 6y.o as it is too risky.

Recently a small takeaway style restaurant that sells coffee and chicken burgers has opened , there are also local food trucks in season and some vending machines on site.

quad bikes are designed for 1 adult . the only time we allow 2 persons on 1 quad bike is with children under the age of 13yrs old whom we allow to ride with one of our experienced guides. 

If you are asking because you may be nervous to ride on your own, the tour is a scenic ride and when you arrive our guides go over the 10 rules of safety. Most people have never been on a quad bike so we are good at teaching you the basics before starting. 

when you make a booking you are given the date and time and location as well as being advised to arrive 30 minutes earlier than your booking time, this gives you sufficient time to accommodate  bad traffic or getting lost. You have made the booking at the time you requested our responsibility is to provide the service you booked at the time you booked your responsibility is to arrive to your booking on time and preferably early. If you do not arrive to your booking on time you will miss your booking and will then have to make a new booking and payment and you will not be refunded or rescheduled for the missed booking . we require 24 hours notice before the booking time to refund or reschedule.

We get a lot of people contacting us before their booking asking to change the time because their flight is late or the car hire is late , we still require 24hours notice  so best not to make bookings the day of your flight .

Yes, as you sign an indemnity form taking full responsibility and accountability before going on the quad bike . 

but this is really a question you should ask you doctor.

we have strict safety guidelines and rules and encourage you to take it slow and enjoy the scenery.

Personally , why even take the chance of falling off a quad pregnant , save the experience for another day.
